Departure Ports
Disney Cruise Line sails from ports across the US, Canada, Europe, and Asia. Find upcoming sailings from a port near you.
Port Canaveral
Port Canaveral is Disney Cruise Line's primary homeport, located on Florida's Space Coast just 45 minutes from Walt Disney World. More Disney Cruise Line sailings depart from here than any other port in the world. The port is purpose-built for Disney — guests check in at a dedicated Disney terminal complete with Disney decor and character touches before even boarding the ship.
Fort Lauderdale
Fort Lauderdale's Port Everglades is home to the Disney Destiny. Just 30 miles north of Miami, Fort Lauderdale offers easy access from one of the most connected parts of South Florida. The city has transformed from a spring break destination into a genuinely sophisticated coastal city with excellent dining and beautiful beaches.
San Diego
San Diego's B Street Cruise Ship Terminal serves as the West Coast hub for Disney Cruise Line. The city is one of the best pre and post-cruise destinations in the United States — perfect weather year-round, world-class food, Balboa Park, the famous San Diego Zoo, and the historic Gaslamp Quarter all within easy reach of the port.
Galveston
Galveston Island's cruise terminal serves Texas and Central US travelers seeking Caribbean sailings without flying to Florida. The island has a charming historic downtown with Victorian architecture, good seafood restaurants, and easy beach access. Most guests drive from Houston, Dallas, or San Antonio rather than flying in.
Vancouver
Canada Place in downtown Vancouver is one of the most spectacular embarkation experiences in the world. Surrounded by mountains and ocean, Vancouver is a genuinely world-class city and the perfect gateway to Alaska. The port is walkable from downtown hotels and the city deserves at minimum two days of exploration before you board.
San Juan
San Juan is one of the most beautiful and historically rich embarkation ports in the DCL network. Old San Juan — with its blue cobblestone streets, 500-year-old Spanish fortresses, vibrant colors, and extraordinary food scene — is worth 2-3 days before or after your sailing. Puerto Rico uses USD and US cellular networks, so there's no foreign currency or roaming to worry about.
Barcelona
Barcelona is Europe's most exciting city and DCL's primary Mediterranean embarkation point. Gaudí's surreal masterpieces dominate the skyline, the food is extraordinary, and the beaches are beautiful. Plan at least 3 days in Barcelona before your sailing — it would be a crime to rush through. The cruise terminal is in the Port Vell, a short taxi or bus ride from Las Ramblas.
Civitavecchia
Civitavecchia is Rome's port, located 60-90 minutes from the center of the Eternal City. Most guests spend 2-3 days in Rome before boarding — the Vatican, Colosseum, Roman Forum, and Trevi Fountain are all within reach. The town of Civitavecchia itself is pleasant but the real draw is its proximity to one of the greatest cities in human history.
Southampton
Southampton is England's premier cruise port, located about two hours southwest of London. The city has a deep maritime history — it was from here that the Titanic departed in 1912. Today it's a modern, functional port city with good transport links to London and easy access to the English countryside, Winchester, and Stonehenge.
Singapore
Singapore's Marina Bay Cruise Centre is the most exotic and remarkable embarkation point in the entire DCL fleet. Singapore itself is one of the world's great cities — immaculately clean, extraordinarily diverse in food and culture, safe, modern, and endlessly fascinating. The Marina Bay Sands skyline is one of the most recognizable in the world, and the food at the hawker centers is among the best on earth.
