Privacy Policy

VDAWN LLC ("VDAWN," "we," "us") operates VDAWN Cruisers at vdawn.com — a toolkit for Disney Cruise Line fans — and VDAWN Travel, an independent travel agency. This policy explains what we collect, why, who else touches it, and the choices you have. We don't sell your personal information, and we don't run advertising or cross-site tracking.
1. What we collect
You can use most of the site without an account
Browsing sailings, ships, deck plans, ports, the fleet tracker, tips and calculators needs no sign-in, and we don't ask you for anything.
If you sign in
You sign in with Google. Google gives us your name and email address (and a profile photo link, which we don't use). We create an account record and a display name that other members may see where you take part in a community tool (see below). We never receive your Google password.

Please keep sensitive details to what a feature needs. For example, give a child's age rather than their name, and share allergies only as far as your exchange partners need them to shop safely. Anything you post publicly can be read by anyone. If you enter someone else's name or email to invite them, please make sure they're expecting it.
Collected automatically
- A sign-in session cookie that keeps you logged in. It's strictly necessary and ends when you sign out or it expires.
- A one-time notice flag in your browser's session storage so the site-status notice doesn't reappear. It never leaves your device.
- Standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested, timestamps) kept by our hosting provider for security and reliability.
We do not use advertising cookies, analytics trackers or fingerprinting, and we don't build advertising profiles.
2. How we use it
- To run your account and the tools you use (Roll Call, Fish Extender, Pixie Dusting, packing lists, Price Watch).
- To respond to a quote request and, if you ask us to, help you book a sailing.
- To keep the site secure, prevent abuse and fix problems.
- To send email about something you asked for. We don't send marketing email unless you opt in.
- To meet legal obligations.
3. Who else handles your information
We use these providers to operate the site. Some process data on our behalf; for embedded content, your browser talks to them directly when a page loads that content.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or anyone's safety, or in a business transfer (such as a sale of the business), in which case this policy would continue to apply. We do not share your information with Disney Cruise Line or any cruise vendor unless you ask us to — for example, by requesting a booking.
4. Retention and deletion
We keep account and tool data while your account is open. Quote requests are kept as long as needed to serve you and for our business records. You can ask us to delete your account and the data tied to it at any time (see section 6); content you posted publicly may be removed or anonymised. Backups and logs age out on their normal schedule.
5. Security
Data lives in a managed database with row-level access rules, so signed-in members can only reach their own records or what another member has deliberately shared with a group. Traffic is encrypted in transit. No system is perfectly secure, so please don't post anything you couldn't bear to have exposed.
6. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live (including under laws in Texas, California and other U.S. states) you may have the right to know what we hold about you, get a copy, correct it, delete it, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information or of targeted advertising. We don't sell or share personal information and don't do targeted advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of — but you can still ask us to access, correct, port or delete your data. Email agency@vdawn.com from the address on your account and we'll respond within 45 days. We won't treat you differently for making a request. If we decline, you can appeal by replying to that email, and you may also contact your state attorney general.
Do Not Track / Global Privacy Control: because we don't track you across sites, these signals are honoured by default.
7. Children
VDAWN Cruisers is for adults. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13, and accounts are for people 18 or older. Some tools ask for the ages of children in your party so gifts and surprises fit — please give ages only, never names or photos of children. If you believe a child has given us personal information, tell us and we'll delete it.
8. Where data is processed
We and our providers operate primarily in the United States. If you use the site from elsewhere, your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S.
9. Third-party sites
We link to Disney Cruise Line, Facebook, WhatsApp, YouTube and other sites. Their privacy practices are their own; please read their policies.
10. Changes
If we change this policy we'll update the date above and, for significant changes, tell signed-in users by email or a notice on the site.
